What's going on?

Something is just not right here. Look at these pictures of Sienna and Riley, both 4 months old:

SIENNA

Riley's weight: 12 lb 10 oz
Sienna's weight: 15 lbs 14 oz

Sienna was sitting up without toppling. Riley is not. What happened? Is my milk less creamy now? Is Riley just not an eater? Can I blame such a significant difference on Riley having a "bad" latch? I hate having this problem!

Try not to freak out. Brendan was much chubbier than Eva at 4 months (despite him being almost 1.5 lbs less at birth) and all my kids hit milestones at different times. And they are all healthy kids. Every kid is different, even in families. If his weight and development is within normal ranges, I wouldn't worry too much. But talk to your pediatrician about it.

Ummm... he looks pretty healthy to me! If he's not acting hungry between meals, I wouldn't worry about it. Some kids just don't feel like they need as much as others. As long as his growth rate is steady (if a little slow), he'll be fine!

He looks like a happy, healthy boy! Keep up the good work!
