I didn’t intend to take a month long vacation from the blog,
but life happened.
We had to move out of our sweet little home on October 20th. Our lease was up and our Landlord needed to
move back in. Needless to say, a lot of
my time was spent in packing, holding a last minute yard sale, and
cleaning/painting the place top to bottom.
We are sad to leave what had become our home. We will miss hearing Sienna scamper down the
stairs first thing in the morning to come and wake us up. We’ll miss Riley being clear across the house
from us (so his noise didn’t keep us awake at night). We’ll miss having a back yard and a garden of
our own. We’ve only been living with my
parents for about 3 weeks but already it’s hard to remember what it was like to
have our own living space.
We plan to live here until a couple in our Lehi ward finish
their basement. They found out that we
had to move and generously offered to finish
their basement so that we could live there.
We expect it to be done in a few months.
Hopefully no later than February!
