Riley has successfully gone about 2.5 months without getting sick, and it shows! The pediatrician was pleased with the upward trend on his growth chart. He was 18 lb 9 oz at his 15 month check up on September 7!
To put it in perspective, Sienna-who is 3-has only had a flu-like sickness ONE time in her life. It was a really aggressive bug that had her throwing up for a full week during which she ate practically nothing. That was a really tough week! Riley, who is 1, has had the flu SIX times so far. Each time was a 24 hour or less kind of bug, but each time left him without an appetite for a week afterward.
You might think that it would be better to have a bug that didn't last a full day. Actually, Sienna's week long bug was MUCH easier to handle than Riley's six. She was sick and without an appetite for a week. He has been sick and then without and appetite for SIX weeks! No wonder he's so tiny :(
Here's hoping for another 2.5 months throw up free! (Although finding a used lollipop in his mouth at Kid to Kid worries me a little)

I love the new picture at the top of your blog, you guys all look great! And I'm glad Riley is putting on a little more weight, such a cute little guy!
That's great! He and Evan are about the same weight, though Evan might be slightly heavier. He's just a chunk.
