Best Buds

Our typical morning routine:

Riley wakes up and cries.

Mom curses, then drags herself out of bed and makes him breakfast

Sienna gets up and joins us in the kitchen

But every now and then Mom wakes up all on her own and is delighted that Riley slept in.  She gets up and slowly makes her way to the kitchen to make breakfast.  She goes to get Riley, and SURPRISE!!

Riley is awake and playing with Big Sis in his crib.

"Mom, Riley was crying so I came in here and made him feel better."

Awww.

 Sitting on Mom's box of flour together. 

"Riley, give Sienna a kiss!"

 "Riley, no hitting your sister!"

 Sienna convinced me to put up the Johnny Jump Up.  Then of course, Riley wanted to stand in it.  Sienna wanted to swing him in it.  Pretty soon Riley wanted to get out :) 

I'm so happy these two have each other!  I love their relationship and hope they'll always be close.

Lately Riley has been chasing Sienna around the house trying to give her kisses.  She runs away as if that is the worst thing that could happen to her.  He thinks it's fun that way and giggles as he chases.  Fun times!
